    Hi All ,

Please go through the attached screen shot and let me know why the date format is varying from each other on the same report.

    Thanks in advance

Could you post a screenshot of the same file but opened up in a text editor like Notepad? It could be that Excel is autoformatting the data.

OK, it looks like the CSV data is consistent but Excel is reformatting some of it. The easiest thing to do would be to select the column header and change the format for the entire column to the one you want.

Yeah, it looks like Excel is formatting the dates differently.  I typically format the cells as category: text (highlight column, right click, format cell) to avoid any interference from Excel trying to predict the data format.

we got following reply from Aruba support.

Tested few reports in our lab, the date and time values in “Connect Time” and “Disconnect Time” are getting shuffled. When we run the report to export that to a CSV file, the information is fetched from Airwave Database and the transfer of data to the csv file is based on how the data is stored in database. It is the expected behavior that the values can get shuffled based on how it is stored in Airwave Database. Once we have the complete data available on the csv file, the only option to sort this is from csv file in ascending or descending order.
