Distributed L3 DHCP scope Issues

I am trying to setup an VPN from IAP cluster that terminates on to a mobility controller. From what I read, Aruba recommends a distributed l3 dhcp scope with the virtual controller being the gateway and the DHCP server. However, for some reason I cannot get the IAP-VCto assign addresses when I configure a distributed l3 DHCP scope.

Here are the steps I have been taken:

    c-scope.PNG

    c-scope-overview.PNG

    c-ssid-vlan.PNG

    c-ssid-vlan-assigned.PNG

    c-vpn-status-up.PNG

Afterwords I try to connect to the SSID and cannot DHCP an address. From the IAP cluster I can ping the networks on the Controller thorugh the VPN.

    Any thoughts?

Did you add the IAP MAC address to the controller RAP whitelist ?

Is the MAC address added to the IAP trusted list ?

Can you see the IAP when you run the "show IAP table" command ?

Can you please share how did you configured your scope?

    Victor,

    Thanks for the reply.

It turns out that the IAP was not in the iap trusted db and only in the whitelist rap db.

    Thanks for your help!
