    Hello Everybody,

    I am having some problems about getting the time from a Microsoft Domain Controller. The DC is ping-able and other devices like the switch can receive the right time from the DC. The DC-Admin told me, that everything is ok with the DC (this is something outside my influences).

    I don't know which information is necessary for you to help me. Here are some basic Information:

      * version 6.3.1.0-4.0.0

      * virtual-controller-country PL

      * virtual-controller-ip 172.20.7.195

      * terminal-access

      * ntp-server 172.20.7.237

      * clock timezone Warsaw 01 00

    Please tell me which further information you need.

    I hope somebody would have the same problem and knows a little hint or some troubleshooting ideas.

    Best regards,

    Marcel Heß

    Hi,

    Did u checked the your network allowing NTP connectiviy (not ping...) to the server and from the server to the VC?

    UDP/TCP 123?

    Hey,

    please excuse my late response, I only have limited remote access to the IAPs.

    With the above hints the time synchronisation do not work.

    I have checked the things you suggested. With the NTP-Server pool.ntp.org the time sync. works without problems. Between the IAPs and the DC is only a switch located with no restrictions. The DC is configured as standalone NTP-Server. After looking into the DC-Firewall logs, it seems, that the IAPs doesn't ask the DC. I have double checked all IP addresses and subnet masks.

    I have contacted the Support, they said that there is no problem with the IAP.

    Now, I have no idea what to check know or where I can get any further help.

    Some other hints or ideas?

    Mant thanks in advance!

    Best regards,

    Marcel

    Hallo,

    I solved the problem. It was a wrong configuration at the domain controller.

    Here is the article that helped me to solve the problem:
