I am Looking to see if anyone has depolyed IAP225s in a warehouse or loby with 30' ceilings without antennas
30' should work fine. The IAP-225 has internal antennas and have a downtilt bias and would achieve a similar result to an IAP-224 with an external downtilt.such as the ANT-16.
The IAP-225 has internal antennas only. I know there have been warehouse deployments with APs at 30 - 40' feet.
If you want to go with external antennas you need an IAP-224 then select the appropriate 3x3 MIMO antenna from the price-list.
Yeah just pulled one out no place to add a antenne on those, Im trying to avoid changing to the 224s,
The deployments your talking of what type of APs were they?
I know mainly of AP-105's. The AP-225 has better receive sensitivity than the 105 so it should perform as well or better.
We use 105's at 35-45 feet with mostly no issues, the 225s shoudl be great at 30
We have quite a few deployments of IAP225s in Warehouses at 30 to 35 feet.
I have a setup in a warehouse with aruba 225 and 10 to 12 meters (30 feet) to the construction rafters, i have perfect coverage and a lots of clients on B/G/N and some on AC. the warehouse is 15000 m2 (161458.65ft²)and i'm only having 9 accesspoints...... and the coverage Perfect!
