IAP 105 client unable to ping gateway

Hi,

I hv configured IAP 105 in standalone mode. configured static ip on IAP interface (from vlan 10)

I hv configured "Corp" SSID for employee using static 10(vlan id), authentication method wpa2 enterprise with internal database.

There is no dhcp configured on my switch for vlan 10. i will assign static ip to wireless adapter. User is successfully authenticated.

I am able to ping gatewayip from AP cli but wi-fi client is not able to ping gatewayip.

Please suggest troubleshooting steps.

Thanks in advance..

Is vlan 10 trunked to the physical interface of your iap?

Re: IAP 105 client unable to ping gateway

i am using 10.0.10.X/24 ip range for client and 10.0.10.1 IP for IAP access. Shall i need to configure IAP interface as trunk?

As i check, i am able to ping gatewayip 10.0.10.10 from IAP but i am not able to ping IAP ip from switch...

Thanks..

Re: IAP 105 client unable to ping gateway

Hi Cjoseph,

After make switch port mode trunk i am able to ping my gatewayip.

But i lost IAP management access from lan as well associated wlan user.

do i need to configure management ip address? or do i need to configure uplink management vlan =10
