IAP-205 Sonos

    I had to make the following changes to my IAP-205 for Sonos to work per the Sonos rep:

     

    Broadcast filtering: Disabled

    Multicase transmission optimization: Enabled

    Dynamic multicast optimization: Disabled

     

    How does this affect my wireless network other than making Sonos work?

    Disabling broadcast filtering can potentially degrade your performance by allowing multicast traffic and broadcast traffic to be replicated back to your wireless network.
