    Hi All,

I've got an issues with IAP 215s where they're stuck in a boot loop. They seem to be rebooting after the following point in the console log:

    [   25.833083] wifi0: AP type AP-215, radio 0, max_bssids 16
    [   25.941416] wifi1: AP type AP-215, radio 1, max_bssids 16

Multiple APs have been tested and all reboot at the same point. Different switches have been tested and the result is the same. The switches tested are all Juniper switches.

We're going to test on a defferent vendors switch soon but wanted to see what the community thinks?

    Full console log attached.

    Cheers

    James

Yes they're brand new out of the box.

    We've tried resetting them also..

It turned out that the max PoE power on the switch ports was set too low. Max was 6.4 watts. Increasing the power being provided to cover the AP maximum fixed this.

I guess the moral of the story is to check the AP datasheet for PoE requirements before setting the maximum PoE power per port.

    Cheers
