Lets start from the end and with a simple explanation
- AP-93 = 300Mbps (theory) over the air (Up to 16 instant units can be controllerd under one VC)
- AP-105 = 600Mbps (theory) over the air (Up to64 instant units can be controllerd under one VC)
difference is there in terms of signal strength and coverage
- it's depands on a lot of things: the building meterials and topology + device type + aos + client chipset and more.
ould there be any significant benefit to opt for IAP-105 over IAP-93?
- the main benifet of using iAP-105 is the ability to use band steering and use the 5.0Ghz specturm in 40Mhz working mode.
most of today client device do support the use of 5.0 and this specutrm is much "clean" and "quite" in building deployment and ofcouse in urban/buildings/towers enviroments. (2.4Ghz isn't contain too much none overlapping channels and isnt recommded for use in 40Mhz - wide band mode)
- Another band=more density.
