    Hi All

I am just trying to get a feel for what is normal memory utilization for IAP 205 and IAP 215.

I understand it will be different for your own scenario but would be good to know what other people who uses IAP 205 and IAP 215 are seeing.

    Happy to publish mine:

This is taken from IAP 205 from a

    > show ap debug system-status command

with only 3 active users not doing a lot.

    # sh ap debug system-status

i would suggest a TAC case. 6.4.4.3-4.2.2.0 in my lab with 54 clients has following stats:

    Hi

    Many thanks for the info.

Which IAP are you using? 205/215/225?

    Thanks

    Anwar

Also, please can you let me know if DPI is turned off or on?

    Many thanks.

    so i have a cluster of 215 & 225 & DPI is turned on.

225 mem consumption is 29% while 215 is 61%. That is expected as 215 memory is 256 MB while 225 is 512 MB.

4.2.3 code gives you choice to turn on visibility for webcc and dpi separately. if you chose webcc only, that might help on memory side.

    Hi

Many thanks for attaching the show tech.

Just looking into your output, which is from IAP-215

    IAP-215

    MemTotal:         255396 kB

    MemFree:          100332 kB

    My output from IAP-205:

    MemTotal: 126212 kB
    MemFree: 11420 kB

    * You are using 155064 kB Memory from a Total 255396 kB on an IAP-215 wheras with IAP-205 has Total Memory 126212 kB.

So should the conclusion be IAP-205s are under resourced?

    * Any chance you have an IAP-205 on your environment?

    Thanks

    Hi Mannvishal

Is there a document where it's shown the total of memory for each IAP/CAP model (especifically 125,215, 225)?

I already searched in the data sheets, but theres nothing related.

    Greetings
