    I have a 1500-24P Mobility Access Switch, and 2 IAP-215,
I would like to set up a roaming environment using these equipments.
When I watch the video of the part of roaming in the Instant training,
it have mentioned that we can add the secondary IAP to the virtual controller.
However, is it possible that I can set up roaming without the virtual controller?
cause I would like to set up the IAPs with IP assigned from the network instead of the Virtual Contoller.
It means that I would not have a virtual controller right?

No. You will always have a virtual controller. But you can choose within the ssid setting which ip assignment you want, vc assign or network assign. Roaming will work in both settings.

    Thank you for your reply.
Does it mean that I could follow the set up procedure in thr roaming part in the Instant Aruba to set up the L3 mobility?

If you have IAPs that are in the same subnet, roaming is automatic if they are broadcasting the same SSID.

Sorry I would like to ask a bit more.
I have a router connected to my desktop, having the internet connection and IP 192.168.0.1
Should I connect the switch to the router for internet connection?
So what should the IP address set for the switch? 192.168.0.100?
Sorry for asking stupid question but I am a newbie to setting up such network.

Do you have a layout of how everything is setup?

I have drafted the diagram on how to connect everything.
    The subnet is 255.255.255.0
Will the router assign a IP sddress to the switch or I can assign an IP address of 192.168.0.0/16 to the switch?
I would like to use network assigned IP address for the two IAPs.
    Thank you.

Sorry I would like to ask if I connect the router which have already have Internet accessibility,
the IP address is 192.168.0.1. Is that I could set the switch in the IP range 192.168.0.0/16 also,
and this could provide Internet service to the IAPs?
