Is this IAP factory default or previously configured? Is this the only IAP in the cluster? I noticed it said Master so I assume it's the first you've powered up?

  • 3.  RE: IAP1-5 stuck in reboot loop

It looks like the IAP is not able to get an IP ?

  • 4.  RE: IAP1-5 stuck in reboot loop

    Posted Dec 11, 2013 08:52 AM

It is getting an IP, 10.0.1.74. The web interface is very briefly available, sometimes even long enough to log in, but not more than a few seconds before rebooting.

Could you get into APBOOT via the console connection , run the command 'mfginfo' and share with us the result?

    Hi,

Do you have other IAP105s in your network? Is this the only AP that is crashing?

    Thanks,

    Yan

  • 8.  RE: IAP1-5 stuck in reboot loop

    Posted Dec 12, 2013 03:22 PM

I have another AP it does not crash.  It also is unconfigured.  At one time I had 4 of these setup for a evaluation.  I only have two of them left and this one for some reasom crashes on boot.  They have both been factory reset.  I have tried several different firmware images as well.

  • 9.  RE: IAP1-5 stuck in reboot loop

Is there a possibility of swapping the location of the two APs to eliminate the possibility of a hardware issue?

  • 10.  RE: IAP1-5 stuck in reboot loop

    Posted Dec 11, 2013 08:51 AM

This is factory default, yes at the time it was the only AP.  I have another that boots up just fine, but I have not configured that one either.

Looks like option 43 is configured in your DHCP server. Are you trying to
bring it up fresh or pull a config from AirWave?

  • 12.  RE: IAP1-5 stuck in reboot loop

Boot up fresh, as far as I can tell I don't have option 43 configured in my DHCP server.

which country-code we run? It seemed this IAP running with a country-code we not support.

How do I determine country code?
