IAP105 Maximum Datarate

Hi Friends,

Hope you are doing well. I have couple of questions. we have implemented IAP 105 cluster in a building. We have black listed MAC addresses of many devices ( from security- black list window) but they are still showing in clients window, We disconnect them from client window but the connect again.

 

second problem on every IAP all the LED are green but my a/n users are not connecting on 'n' they are keep connecting on 'a' that is why we are having bandwidth issue because maximum datarate on which they are connecting is 54 (we have implemented 802.1X). I have tested 'legacy only' option but that is already 'disable'. I have also gone through in network window here it shows only 54 maximum data rate available for 5Ghz.  please advice how to resolve this issue.

Can you check if 'blacklisting' is enabled in the SSID network wizard? Or you could share your running config with us so we can take a look.

Make sure you are not using TKIP for that ssid.  For 'n' rates it must be Open or AES encryption.

 

In the client window, clicking on the x to delete the client appears to do nothing.  Maybe in the background something happens, but it certainly doesn't look like that.

Why type of clients are you using ?

 

From the cli can you run this command :

iap_test# show  clients
