    Hi all,

Is it possible to to over-the-air mesh configuration with AP225 on code 6.4.3.4-4.2.1.0 ?

I can do wired first join, but I would like to see if there was a way without first connecting it to the same subnet/vlan as VC.

    Thank you.

    N

No, it must join wired first.

Hello this is somewhat related to my questions i am trying to figure out if this IAP would be able to handle mesh over a distance of about 175ft?

It's possible, depending on the conditions and setup (AP orientation, channels used, noise floor, environment, etc) and use case/application. Best case would be to test it as we don't do longer range mesh testing on indoor APs.

If it's clear line of sight, no interference, no obstructions and both ceiling mounted, throughput should be approx 30-60Mbps HT20, or approx 50-100Mbps for HT40.

Ok so what you are saying is I should be able to run these as a mesh with this distance as long as I have them both ceiling mounted and a clear line of sight? I mean I am talking about 5-15Mbps at the high end.
