Is anyone else experiencing a high level of timeout events between Instant 105 Virtual controller and Microsoft NPS ? Both the NPS server and all WAP's are on the same network. NPS is fully patched and WAP is running latest code.

    We need much more information:

    - What version of IAP code

    - What Model IAP

    - How many IAPS do you have

    - What type of authentication?

    - What type of client is this happening with?

    - When did it start happening?

    6ea. Instant 105 WAP

    2ea. WAP 175

    Code – 6.2.1.0-3.3.0.0_38115

    WPA – 2 Enterprise – pointing to a Microsoft 2008 R2 NPS Server

All Windows 7 Clients on new Lenovo Laptops

The issue has been recorded on every Radius Issue Report since we have installed Airwave.

    Airwave version is 7.6.3

Clients are not affected, we cannot tell if the radius server timeout message is rea lor a false positive.

One reason for that timeout is if the Radius Server has a certificate that has either just been changed or new..  The user would have to accept that new certificate...  If the user just roams into coverage and connects, is challenged to accept the new certificate and the phone is in the user's pocket, or if the user does not accept in time, there will be a timeout as a result.

    It is definitely worth monitoring.
