    Hello,

     

    I have a Iap-225 with software version 6.4.4.4-4.2.3.2_54910. I run this version because i wanted to disable the broadcast of the SSID's on specific times.

     

    Im trying to set up my ENET1 port as a bridge port. But when i plug in my laptop on this port it stays down. If i reboot the IAP i can see the port goes up for a short time and then goes down again.

     

    My setup:

    So i created a new wired profile (bridge) with the following settings:

    Employee

    POE: Disabled

    Admin status: UP

     

    Under advanced settings:

    Content filter disable

    Uplink Disabled (tested also with enabled)

     

    On the VLAN page i use Access port.

    I tryed both options: virtual controller managed as network assigned

     

    Security tap is default and access tab is unrestricted.

     

    Now this profile is created i bind it to interface 0/1.

     

    I have not tested it with another software version yet. Any Idea?

    Are you using high-powered POE to power your AP-225?  If not, it will bring the second interface down.  Check the "show tech-support" to see if that is what is happening:
