    I have couple of questions:

    • In instantAP 103 ...why there is 80mhz option ? the AP is an 802.11n accesspoint - please explain.

    • Should we disable it? or does this setting means = 40mhz in 802.11n?

    • What about 802.11ac InstantAP units? like iAP205 ? if we would like to work in 40mhz ? we need to disable the 80mhz or enable it?

    Please advise.

80 MHz is used for 802.11ac, not 802.11n

If you want to use 40 MHz on 802.11ac, yes you need to disable 80 MHz.

    OK.

    • So...In iAP-103 , Why the default setting is 80Mhz = enable?

    the iAP-103 isnt 802.11ac Accesspoint...

    • And from what you wrote , i understand that disabling this option in iAP-205 will make it work in 40mhz.so if i will disable it on iAP-103 , what will happen?

    Hi,

The configuration you see is global configuration across all APs in the same cluster. Because the cluster could have a mixture of 11n and 11ac APs, or could have 11ac APs added in the future, our global configuration UI include the full set of configuration options, including 80mhz support which is 11ac only. When this configuration is applied to individual APs, it would only take effect on 11ac APs; the 11n AP would just ignore this setting.

    Thanks,
