    Hi,

     

    In our enviroment, we are using solarwinds for monitoring network devices. We have IAP configured in few sites, which is configured with SNMP for monitoring the health and ports. But Master IAP are not respoding to SNMP in solarwinds, but other IAP in the same site are responding wihout any issues. We have configured snmp-server and snmp-server community string as well.

     

    ArubaOS (MODEL: 135), Version 6.2.1.0-3.4.0.2

     

    Any suggestions?

    Do you have SW pointed to the virtual controller IP or the actual APs address?

    If you want this to work, you must upgrade to IAP 4.1.
    SNMP is fixed in that release.

    Thanks for your reply. U mean to say needs to upgrade from version 6.2.1.0-3.4.0.2 to Version 6.2.1.0-4.1.

     

    Please clarify so that i can propose to my higher official to get an approval.

    Yes, you must upgrade to 6.4.0.2-4.1.0.0.

     

    If you have IAP-93's, you must wait for 4.1.0.1 because 4.1.0.0 will not work with IAP-93s as per the release notes.

    After upgrading the IAP firmware version, the master IAP and other IAPs are responding to SNMP without any issue.
