    Hi !

     

    Can I deploy multiple VLANs per SSID on IAPs ?

     

    In SSID settings I found that users can gets different roles in one SSID (one  VLAN).

    But my customer  don't want to use firewall rules, he want to assign different VLANs to different users.

     

    There were rumors, that this will be deployed in next firmware versions.

    But in latest version I can't find how to configure IAP in this way.

     Do you mean AP assign Vlan with attributes of Radius server reply for different user?

    Yes.

    Clients connects to one SSID, IAP checks Radius attributes and assign VLAN based on this settings.

    Currently Instant doesn't support vlan based role derivation.

    in the latest firmware, this seems to be available.

     

    see: Instant User Guide page: 127

     

    i just done this configuration and it works perfectly.

    I "advertise" different VLAN and put clients on any of them depending of Radius answer.

     

    Feel free to ask if needed :)
