Ok, our 14 APs had these IPs to start:
192.168.1.254
192.168.2.254
192.168.3.254 ...etc
These were the static IPs they were assigned to on our DHCP server. Since I need to reserve a range of 192.168.2.1 - 192.168.3.254 to put mobile devices on (then I can control their access via IP range) I am moving everything out of that range and giving all devices a static IP. I changed the IPs on the DHCP server and changed all the APs to mirror...
192.168.1.241 - 192.168.1.254
After the change they all disappeared from the configuration page. Once in awhile 1-4 of them would come back but now it's been a few hours and none have come back. I tried setting the subnet (255.255.252.0) on the VC to match the APs or leaving it blank like it was before but nothing worked. I had once before set static ips for all the APs, giving them the same IP that they were already getting (1.254, 2.254, 3.254 etc) and nothing went wrong. I don't understand what happened this time around. Should I just factory reset each one? It would be a PITA as they're up on the ceiling and I didn't install these guys so I don't know how hard it would be to configure them all over again.
