Problems with iphone ios9 and aruba IAP103
Problems with iphone ios9 and aruba IAP103
12-19-2016 01:48 AM
Hi,
I have 3 aruba iap103's. I have 3 apple devices and 1 android device. With the iphone i cannot stream netflix to the chromecast. With the android i can.
Youtube is no problem but with netflix i do not see the stream option on the iphone.
Does anyone have a solution? I have installed the latest firmware that is available via update.
Regards,
Danny

If you install the Chromecast app on the iPhone, can you setup the actual Chromecast? What's the version of Netflix on the iPhone?

Do you even see the Chromecast icon on the Netflix app?

Is "Guest" mode enabled on your Chromecast? If not, then enable it, wait a few seconds and you'll probably see the Chromecast icon appear in the Netflix application.

That's because in guest mode, you are connecting adhoc to the Chromecast. In your Chromecast setup, in the Guest Mode dialogue, you'll see you have different PIN than your "normal" Chromecast mode.
Don't forget that in Guest Mode, any device in with connectivity to the Chromecast can connect adhoc if they know the Guest PIN.
From the Aruba IAP side, I assume your iPhones are in the the same SSID and VLAN as the Chromecast and you have enabled airgroup services, correct?

If you haven't done so already, make sure you check all the DLNA protocols in airgroup.
