RAP-3WNP after upgrade to ArubaInstant_Orion_6.4.0.3-4.1.0.2_45704 can't finish initialization.

    RAP-3WNP, after upgrade to ArubaInstant_Orion_6.4.0.3-4.1.0.2_45704, can't finish initialization process.

    WLAN LED doesn't come to Green state. Neither of Ethernet connections can't provide DHCP IP assigment to PC connected to it.

    Please help, how to deal with this situation.

    Do you have serial console for RAP3WN?

    No I have no serial cable, just ordering it.

    Any other Idea, until I obtain the cable?

    At the bottom of your RAP3 theres a reset button , unplugg the power then plug it back while holding down the reset button for 10-15 seconds and then release it..

     

    Give that a try and see if it works

    Hi

    Thanks to everybody.

    I resolved this problem when console log show

     

    Dec 31 16:04:16 udhcpc[1011]: send_discover: pkt num 0, secs 0
    Dec 31 16:04:16 udhcpc[1011]: Sending discover...

     

    The new version requires E0 interface to be connected and obtain IP address from DHCP.

    Only after then boot process finishes and WLAN come UP with instant SSID.

     

    ip_time_handler: Got ip and packets on bond0 Started master election 1-0
    i am master now

     

    Problem resolved
