Reboot a AP connected to ArubaS2500-24P

Hello Team,

Can you please update  me the command to reboot the AP through the reomval of power connected to my ArubaS2500-24P switch.

On my Aruba 2930F swicth I perform the following the command

#no interface <PORTS> power-over-ethernet
(to reboot the device through the removal of power)

The above mentioned command does not work for ArubaS2500.

So can you help with this. Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Haresh Niwate

Re: Reboot a AP connected to ArubaS2500-24P

Have you tried the ArubaOS shutdown/no shutdown commands which should work, for example:

(ArubaS3500) #configure t
Enter Configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z
(ArubaS3500) (config) #interface gigabitethernet 1/8
(ArubaS3500) (config-if)#shutdown
(ArubaS3500) (config-if)#no shutdown

Hi Zalion,

Thanks for response. Yes I have tried the shutdown command. However shut and no shutdown command will bounce the interface. I would just  like to shut the poe without bouncing the interface.

Have you tried removing the POE profile from the port?
