Is there a recommended limit in a cluster of AP 105s? i know the limit is unlimited but is there a recommended number like try not doing clusters of more than 200 APS for example...

I got  a project in which we are quoting around 115 IAPs  105s

They do not have the budget for the controller so well  we thinking in going with this...

But still i would like to know if there is any kind of recommendation on the size of a single cluster of AP 105s

    Cheers

    Carlos

    Hello Carlos.
Remmber that there is limit to 1024 devices connected to one InstantAP cluster too.

    Yes i already knowthat...

the scenario here is an hotel with 140 rooms.

like 2 conference rooms of 250  max in each...  so i really doubt that igoes over 1024

With the addition of L3 mobility in IAP code, the cluster size is less of a concern now. Specificy your home and foreign agents and roam away. QA/Engineering is pushing the limits on 'supported' cluster sizes in the coming releases.

Thanks for the info Marcus also told me that.

For now im including him  airwaves for centralized managment.   As it will have many clusters...
