I have an AP 205 and it's firmware is 6.4.2.0-4.1.1_46936

And I found this download: http://support.arubanetworks.com/LifetimeWarrantySoftware/tabid/121/DMXModule/661/Command/Core_Download/Method/attachment/Default.aspx?EntryId=22028

Which looks to be the firmware for this model.

I am about to try to install this firmware. The thing is that it is a bit scary when you have a "Browse" button and an "Upgrade now" button but no indication that the chosen file in the correct one. I seem to have no way to save the current firmware first, and I am unable to find my current firmware on the internet. am I risking to completely brake my AP if I click "Upgrade now"? Or will it give me more options after I click? Is that file really the proper one?

If the file is not compatible, it will tell you so.    The latest firmware for the 205 is located here:
