    Hi all,

We have our IAP207s feed into our Solarwinds NPM environment. We are using SNMP v3. NPM is able to poll the devices using SNMP v3 without issue. However, when the IAPs send traps to the server, we receive this error message: "Bad trap packet received from Node with IP 10.1.1.10. Error description : Decryption of incoming packet failed (local user credentials are not the right ones or the packet is malformed). "

On the IAPs we configure SNMP through the GUI. The user and auth/priv passwords are configured (using SHA, AES). Under "SNMP Traps" we configure a receiver with our NPM IP, SNMP v3, the username configured for SNMP v3, default port, and inform > yes.

Has anyone successfully set these up before in Solarwinds? Is something above being configured incorrectly? Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks

Most of these are running 6.5.4.3_61959. I deployed one earlier this week though that runs 6.5.4.7_64552.
