Keep getting unsupported CPU error message when trying to install ArubaOS_MM on a vsphere client, with AMD processor any ideas on workaround would be very helpful.

    Thanks,

    Wilson.

Can you post the exact error? Usually it's EITHER because:

    a) the CPU is too old and doesn't support the virtualization extensions (AMD-V)

    b) AMD-V is not enabled or supported in the motherboard bios?

What is the exact AMD CPU and Motherboard? Also what version of vSphere?

So that CPU doesn't support VT, which is a requirement for any MM or VMC. Usually that's a laptop CPU so I would guess vmware is installed on a laptop. But either way, you need a CPU on ESX that supports VT.
