Whether the IAP-105, IAP-93 wil sync with IAP205, IAP215.?

    We are still using IAP-105 & 93 in our organization without any problem and now we wanted have more IAPs -205/215. Whether this new IAPs will sync with existing models..? Please clarify.

    - The last version of Instant that supports the IAP-93 is 4.1.3.0

    - The last version of Instant that works with the IAP-105  is 6.4.4.8-4.2.4.3.  

    - The IAP 205 and the IAP 215 support starts with instant 4.1.1.0 http://www.arubanetworks.com/assets/ds/DS_AP200Series.pdf

    To support the IAP-105, IAP-93, IAP-205 and IAP-215, you must stick with software that is not better than 6.4.4.8-4.1.1.13

     

    In other words, if you want to run instant 4.2.x.x, you need to replace your IAP-93s.  If you want to run instant 4.3.x.x, you need to replace your IAP-93s and your IAP-105s.  To run all of them you would just need to run a version of 4.1.1.x (like 4.1.1.13)

     

    I hope that makes sense.

    Currently running firmware in (IAP105, IAP93) is : 6.4.2.6- 4.1.1.11_52666

    Any version below to 6.4.4.8-4.1.1.13 will sync each other, right...?

    Yes, but if you have an IAP-93 in a cluster, please also be aware of the limitations of running 4.1.x.x:

    Hi,

     

    Thank you for the solution,

     

    We have checked the by connecting the New Aruba 215 device with our exisiting devices 105 and 93 and it got synced.

    All the device are running with firmware version 6.4.2.6-4.1.1.11_52666.
