    Hello All,

I have one IAP-224, running as a VC that i want to use as a mesh portal and one IAP-115 which i am trying to setup as a mesh point. If i plug the IAP-115 into the L2 network, it becomes part of the cluster no problem. As soon as i disconnect the ethernet and turn it back on, it elects itself master and finally reboots after about 2 or 3 minutes.

Both my IAP-224 and IAP-115 tell me MESH not supported in the mode

I had also tried turning on bridging for ethernet 0 but all that really does is bypass teh uplink check and not much else.

Anyone have any ideas as to what might be wrong?

Mesh is not currently supported on 11ac access points.

As cappalli mentioned Mesh is not supported on the IAP-22x till later this year.

Also, for the IAP-115 to join a Mesh you need to make sure "Extended SSID" is disabled.   This is found under System ->Advanced Options.
