Wireless Connection issues while roaming with Lenovo Laptops

Hi,

 

We haev bought new Lenovo Laptops recently and current facing the issue with couple of laptops. When Laptops moved from one location to other (Roaming), laptops is not able to connect back to wirless network. Sometime it is frequently disconnecting for approx. 10 minutes or so then get stable connection. Again with Stable connection, there are lots of packet drops if I try to ping the gateway from laptop. Also the similar issue when doing the hibernate.

 

Aruba AP USed : IAP-204/IAP205

Version : 6.4.2.0-4.1.1.0_46028

 

Details of the Lenovo Laptop is as below.

Model : Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon

OS : Windows 7 Enterprise

Wireless LAN Card : Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260

Driver Version : 17.16.0.4

 

Is anybody help what could be issue?

That is a common issue with intel 7260 driver try to update the driver or tweak the adapter settings

Please upgrade your ap to 4.1.1.7 if you can. Many issues are fixed in 4.1.1.7. Please let me know if you have trouble getting 4.1.1.7

Hello!

 

Do you have Client Match active on the Cluster? We have a similar scenario with a customer also using Lenovo laptops, but in this case it's not limited to only that brand. We worked with TAC and ended up turning off Client Match while waiting for a 4.2 release to solve our scenario..

The Client match is not enable in our Infrastructer.
