    Dear All

i have a big problem with My IAP-93 i have bought six IAP93 i have configured first 1 with My SSID name and password also i put the other five 1 by 1 and seems to take configuration from the first one(VC) i have configured And every thing works just fine for 2 days

then i realized that the VC IP i logon into has been changed automatically and the connected IAPs is 5 not 6 i go to see the VC it was Red at Wireless led then i restarted It 2 times nothing happen still Down I go to the other VC which working i have configured the IP of VC to from the Old VC to The New one which i already on its web page  then the first VC comes back online then every thing works Fine for another day after that the new VC goes Down a new IAP takes the role Of VC then the Hole wireless system is down with big delay i have realized that all APs are in the same Channel I have ro configure it manually after i didi this after 2 days all my settings was overrided and all back to same channel while they already Have the MANUAL!!!!!! Settings so What really is happening over here

firmware version is 5.0.3.0-1.1.0.1(even if the firmware is old is this normal?!!!!!)

All the IAPs will upgrade their code when the VC upgrades.

    IAPs 93.jpg

this is the controller after upgrading the Firmware to 6.1.3.1 as u can see i have marked 3 IAPs they are in the same place to fulfill about 80 users also all IAPs channles and Power are automticlly controled by the VC but as u can see two of them have the same channel which will make interferance and brining down the wireless network

    Note:-

at info the VC name is "Aruba master" but the "IAP  of the VC IP "name is aruba apple is this a problem in configuration also here is the configuration:-

You only have 3 channels (1,6,11) to choose from, so all your access points need to be on 1,6 or 11.  The access point chooses the one with the least interference.  If two end up on the same channel, that is not necessarily a bad thing.  Those channels may have the least interference.

Your virtual controller ip address is 172.27.2.57.  You should log into that address to manage your VC cluster.

    Thank you for your reply

but i thought because they are in the same open place with the same Channel will make interference anyway i will let it as it is now

and test the network today and will give you what actually happened thanks again :manhappy:

Looks like every thing works fine last two days after upgrade also the Controller automatically figured the interference and changed the Corresponding channels automatically i hope this last forever thx for all feed backs
