activation rap3 in remote office

    Hi there,

     

    I just RAP3 configured in the controller 650., but I do not understand one thing: when I take RAP3 in the remote office, once connected to the gateway how will you connect to the controller, not knowing his public ip.

    You will not be able to get the RAP to come up not knowing the public ip of the controller to provision the RAP.

    If you have access to controller remotely we could figure out the public ip by doing traceroute or session tables from controller else we couldnt.

    Thank you, I managed to solve: I forgot to enter public ip controller provisioning of rap.

    The rest .... I'm just a novice apprentice.
