    I have aruba 68 and want to configure it to work as stand alone AP how I config the SSID ?

    This is not possible. You need a controller.

    Yes.

     

    The 68 is an old AP. Newer APs can be used in "standalone" mode if you order the Instant version.

    Unfortunately not.  You need the controller do do any setup on the AP68.

    no there's not.  As cappalli said, you'd be better of getting an Instant version of any other AP if you want to trial Aruba products.

     

    I would consider the AP68 to be legacy in any case.

    to upgrade the firmare or configure, you still need the controller.

     

    There is no firmware for AP68 that will make it work without a controller like the IAPs.
