basic & transmit rates vs. supported MCS set on Instant

Hi, when trimming out lowest rates (assuming conditions permit this action) on Instant (4.2.1) what should be my guide when matching basic, transmit rates and MCS supported set on Instant?

    Let's have following CLI setting:

    wlan ssid-profile MyNet
       a-basic-rates 18,24
       a-min-tx-rate 12
       g-basic-rates 18,24
       g-min-tx-rate 12
       supported-mcs-set ???
       vht-supported-mcs-map ???

For example, having min transmit rate for 11a at 12Mbps, should I configure HT to support MCS from MCS 1-7, 9-15, 17-23 (excluding only MCS0=6,5/7,2Mbps and its equivalent for higher SS)? Or should I set higher MCS 2-7 or 3-7 and their equivalents for higher SS?

Having set a-min-tx-rate what is recommended guidance for choosing right set of MCS for HT?

Since for VHT we can only configure max (not min) MCS supported, should I set it to 9,9,9 ?

I hope my quiestion is understandable, since it is not my native language :)

No need to change the mcs setting.
The basic rate should be a subset of the supported rates.

    Ok, thanks for your answer.

Limiting a-min-tx-rates and defining a-basic-rates (as a subset of min-tx) do I need to explicitly configure allowed a-tx-rates also? Or will IAP implicitly assume tx-rates form a-min-tx-rates up to 54Mbps?

    a-basic-rates 18,24
    a-min-tx-rate 12
    a-tx-rates 12,18,24,36,48,54 <--- is it needed?

Only the min rate is needed.
