I'm going to mount an IAP-205 on a pole in our shop area and want to know the height and orientation of the access point. It has internal antennas so is there a certain way the access point needs positioned for the best coverage? Also, what height is best?

    Thanks,

    Tom

It should be mounted horizontally. You can use an L-bracket for this.
Generally speaking, 10-20 feet is OK.

I purchased the wall mount kit that puts it parallel to the wall. Is there a "top" on the access point that needs to be facing up?

    Thanks,

    Tom

The AP should be parallel to the floor with the logo facing down.
