Controllerless Networks

Hi everyone
I have a deployment with several IAPs clusters with airwave, all work fine but some username of clients is showing like "?????".
The SSID is with 802.1x and just are few client that have that issue.

in addition the client is authenticated, with IP
Do you know the reason?, why that client don´t show the real username? the client put the correct credential

Does the username show in the Instant GUI?

in the instant gui and the airwave gui

Look in the radius server logs and see if it is returning the username to instant. The other thought is that the client has an anonymous username configured. Is this happening to all or just some clients? Has this ever worked?

Try getting one of those clients and see if they have an anonymous user configured in the 802.1x supplicant.  Either that or configure your own 802.1x client with an anonymous user to see if that is the issue.

I did my own ssid with 802.1x authentication and when i connected without anonymus name the connection was successfully, but when i did put a anonymus name the connection was unsuccessfully

and in the instant GUI and airwave the username was the correct.

What radius server?

it is a window radius (window server 2012)

You should open a TAC case.  I have never seen that before...

in the instant and airwave GUI is showing with ????
