We’re finding a significant uptake in networked projectors in K-12 environments but less so in Higher Ed because this application tends to require a managed client with dedicated client software for controlling and managing a shared projector. The Windows Network Projector capability in Vista and Windows7 promises to solve this issue leveraging their RDP function to communicate with capable projectors. The result is that anyone with Vista or later can walk into a classroom and use the projector - no specialized client software required. Just wondering if anyone has had any success here or has considered this solution. This of course ignores the growing % of Macs on most campuses. Interested in what everyone is thinking.
