Hi James,

I told all client to logout before disconnect or sleep the wireless. I'm not sure this help.
Do you have any idea?

Re: user passed authentication but the controller rediect client to page captive disable

1. You are saying the client passed authentication but they can't they can't even get to the login page so I don't believe that statement is accurate.

2. I had a similar issue with one user last week. The user would randomly get a pre authentication role that he wasn't supposed to, and that role had captive portal disabled. My workaround was to enable captive portal on that role since it isn't used for anything else. Aruba TAC hasn't been much help in working on the problem. My local SE at least helped me identify what causes the message. I'm running ArubaOS 6.0.0.1 and after I did some googling on the issue I think it's a bug in the code.

Re: user passed authentication but the controller rediect client to page captive disable

1. Absolutely a bug
2. Caused my multiple circumstances, some that have been dealt with already in the latest 6.1.2.3
3. We need users to report when they see this so we can eliminate the other reasons
4. Deleting the user from the user table when they have the wrong role is the only workaround
