    Hi,

     

    I just recived one AP-225, i used poe from our Juniper EX4200-48P, power indicator always shows red, what this indications means, what's the power requiremnt for AP 225. Users are able to connect, 5Ghz band PHY is ac 80MHz and 2.4GHz is n 20MHz.

    What AOS version do you have installed ?

     

    Are you using af ot .3af or 3at ?

     

    What can you see on the when console into the AP?

    The 'red' you see is probably Orange/Amber considering  you see the SSIDs come up.   I often see end-users interpret our orange/amber LEDs as 'red'.   Easy to confuse...I've done it myself ;)

     

    Per the chart in the last posting, that just means Power-Saver mode, due to getting 802.3af from your LAN switch.

     

    FYI, upgrading to AOS 6.3.1.x (when appropriate for you) will enhance the performance of your AP-225 while in this power saver mode/getting 802.3af power.

    What 63 code do you have installed ? Are you using .3af for PoE ?

    As of release 6.3.1.x you will have additional performance on the AP-225.   Consider upgrading to that release train when appropriate for you if you need additional performance on the Ap-225.
