    We are seeing issues from time to time with out newly deployed laptops that have ac 7260 wirless chipsets. We do 802.1x PEAP (username/password).

    When these devices boot up from a cold boot everything is fine 100% of the time.  The user logs in and they get their wireless connection, etc...

    From time to time when they wake from sleep their device will refuse to connect to our wireless network.  In the windows error logs we are seeing this:

    Wireless security failed.

    Network Adapter: Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
    Interface GUID: {fef6bf55-f566-435e-b7ed-9d423ad57b69}
    Local MAC Address: A0:A8:CD:97:4B:C7
    Network SSID: UAsecure
    BSS Type: Infrastructure
    Peer MAC Address: 00:24:6C:B7:64:2C
    Reason: Dynamic key exchange did not succeed within configured time
    Error: 0x0

    Wireless network is blocked due to connection failure.

    Network Adapter: Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260
    Interface GUID: {fef6bf55-f566-435e-b7ed-9d423ad57b69}
    Connection Mode: Automatic connection with a profile
    Profile Name: UAsecure
    SSID(s): UAsecure
    BSS Type: Infrastructure
    Failure Reason:802.1x indicated there is no authenticator, but the profile requires 802.1x.
    Length of block timer (minutes): 10

    But we are not seeing anything even hit our aruba logs when this is happening.  We are running aruba os version: 6.3.1.9

    Turning off and on the wireless adapter does not seem to help.  Rebooting the machine is the only way to re-connect to the wifi network.  We have updated drives on some test machines, but have not had any noticable improvement.

    Any Ideas?

    Thanks,
    Dan

    What driver version are you using? Reading through the intel forums and it looks like a lot of people were having this issue and it was resolved with driver version 17.0.6. Link to the newest driver below.

    I will try this out, we are using the driver provided with Lenovo's deployment packages, and it is a bit older than this one listed.

    I will test this out on monday on a couple of our issue machines.

    Thanks!

    Any luck with the newer drivers?

    Well it seems to help out the wireless issue (we have not seen the issue again on our problem machines).  But it seemed to have caused issues with our WIDI piece... Still troubleshooting...
