VPN Concentrator Advice...

After some upgrades, SSID consolidation, Dot1x convergence and new 7200 controller integration, I now have a left over 3200XM controller. I would like to turn it into a dedicated VPN concentrator. So my question is: Should I leave it as a stand alone master or should I go ahead and make it a local. What are the pros/cons either way?

    Any advice is appreciated!

I would leave it standalone so you don't have to worry about upgrading code
when you upgrade your wireless environment. Are you using this for
    site-to-site or clients (VIA)?

    Hi Tim!

I would be strictly clients and in the future maybe some RAPs. That would be it. Seemed like a good way to make use of an older controller.

Also, if you have AirWave, you can leave it as a standalone but sync the config from your main environment.

    Thanks,
    Tim
