Hi All,

Has anybody come across any issues importing floorplans from Airwave in to ALE?

I am running Airwave version 8.0.7.1 and just have a basic 1 campus, 1 building, 1 floor set-up which ALE cannot import.

ALE is running version 1.3.1.0.

The user account being used is valid and has been tested and the servers are both on the same subnet so no firewalls in play.

I have used the ls_cli.py CLI command and tried to manually import the plans but get an error. The output is below (data has been masked with ****):

OK this looks partially like a password issue.

Although the password was valid it did contain a % character and it looks like this is not accepted. When this character was removed from the password I could suddenly see the site and select the floor.

However, the dashboard still shows as having problems with site fetch.

Further investigation needed I think.

Please open a TAC case, you may refer to case 1677744, which seems to exactly show the same properties as I have seen. This issue is expected to be solved in Airwave 8.0.8, TAC may help you with a workaround in the meantime.

I too have what may be related (case 1675117)

I'll ask TAC what they think about 8.0.8 vs. a workaround, let me know what you find.

Forgot to come back to say that 8.0.8 fixed my issue. My installation seems to be working.

I'm glad for this thread as my issue was solved by removing the % symbol from the password used by ALE to fetch from Airwave. i am running AW 8.0.8.1 and the issue described here was certainly still present for me. Thanks Airheads!
