Clearpass - Endpoint Context Servers - JAMF

    I have added all of the proper settings for my JAMF server. 

     

    Server Name

    URL

    Username and Password

    Enable to fetch endpoints from the server

     

    However once I click save and check the Event Viewer, I see the following message:

    Failed to fetch Endpoint details from JAMF - verify Proxy settings, Server credentials and retry.

     

    I know I have all of the right information for the server and the account I specify is an administrator.  I can login to JSS just fine and have full admin privileges.

     

    Am I missing another configurations somewhere else?...

    Are you using jss.jamfcloud.com as the server? 

     

    Is DNS properly configured on your ClearPass server? Can ClearPass get out to the internet without a proxy?

    We do not use the cloud service for casper...I'm assuming that's what the jss.jamfcloud.com is.  We have it installed on a Windows 2008 R2 server.

     

    DNS is set up properly and it needs a proxy to get to the internet...which in our case doesn't matter since the Jamf Casper suite server is local.
