Hi I am new Aruba's devices and platform.
I have been look at the Cisco Meraki Presence API to record WiFi devices (using their MAC address, whether they are connected to an AP or not) in a retail location using Meraki AP's. I think this is commonly reffered to as monitoring mode. More information is here: https://meraki.cisco.com/technologies/presence-api
I'm just wondering if Aruba devices and platform can do the same thing? I understand that Aruba is integrated with Euclid Analytics (http://euclidanalytics.com), but we are not interested in using this platform as we require something extremly customised to our client's context.
One reason I am not thinking of using the Meraki option is because the API does not seem to reveal the full MAC address. The client has a need to access the full MAC address of devices in store, due to staffing and customer databases they hold from apps and previous scans at PoS.
Anyway, any advice or knowledge about this the capabilities of Aruba in relation to this would be appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

Reachout to your local Aruba account team (http://www.arubanetworks.com/company/contact-us/contact-a-sales-rep/). Depending on the level of detail and customization/triggers you need, we may either have a solution that fits your needs or a known Ecosystem Partner besides Euclid that would work for you

Hope that helps!

Hi,
I am looking to get the same information from Aruba airwave. I managed to find a way to extract csv with these information in the client tab and the All subtable. Just to check it is the information relative to both associated or not devices? And how could I regularly send the information to a server in a JSON like format?
Thank you
Best
Daniel
