To enable Automatic Channel selection on Airespace APs, the most important step is to select "Allow Automatic Channel Selection" on the Groups -> Radio page. Once that is selected, you can go to the Groups -> Airespace Radio page and choose whether the channels are selected Dynamically (controller chooses best available channel every 600 seconds) or statically (channel update is invoked manually). 

If your APs and Controllers are in different AMP Groups, these settings need to be made in the Controller's Group; the APs' Group doesn't need to be configured.
