Monitoring, Management & Location Tracking

Error mesage when we navigate to AP/Devices page :-

If you see a giant error message when log navigating to the AP/Devices tab, up, down, mismatched tabsplease check :

1. a) If this issue came after upgrade? If so, from which version to which version.

b) Is it a new installation?

2. Have any changes been made on AMP or check if you have other error messages on home page (If its not new installation or upgrade).

3. Are there any disabled messages when log into the CLI of AMP. If so, please run the following command to enable AMP.

# amp_enable -now

4. If you see the error message like this :

-----------
Error

The server has encountered an error while performing your request.
Please try again or email a copy of this message along with the web server log <https://192.168.10.202/nf/display_log?log=/var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log> to customer support. Contact AirWave Technical Support at support@airwave.com or 1-866-943-4267 (866-WiFi-AMP) .

Time: Mon Jul 12 10:45:58 2010
URL: /nf/ap_list
----------------

This is probably due to ap client cache not refreshed, then please run the below command, after making sure there are no DISABLED messages.

# mv /var/airwave/dbm/ap_client_cache.db /tmp/ap_client_cache.db.old

5. And the error message continues like the following :

---------------------
Error:

[Mon Jul 12 10:45:58 2010] [error] [client 192.168.15.15] Couldn't connect to server: Connection refused at /usr/local/airwave/lib/perl/Mercury/TupleSpace.pm line 81

. .

---------------

Make sure to get the tuples_spaces log from the customer:

/var/log/tuple_spaces

6. You may get error message like this when navigate to AP/Devices page :
--------------
Error:

The server has encountered an error while performing your request.
Please try again or email a copy of this message along with the web server log to customer support. Contact AirWave Technical Support at support@airwave.com or 1-866-943-4267 (866-WiFi-AMP) .
Time: Thu Jun 24 11:46:55 2010
URL: /nf/ap_authorization
--------------------
If so you can follow the above 1-5 steps.

7. We may get the Tuple space errors with the AMP webpage as well like :
----------------
[Tue Jun 29 09:26:22 2010] [warn] RSA server certificate is a CA certificate (BasicConstraints: CA == TRUE !?)
[Tue Jun 29 09:26:22 2010] [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `np1awms001.corp.halliburton.com' does NOT match server name!?
[Tue Jun 29 09:28:39 2010] [warn] RSA server certificate is a CA certificate (BasicConstraints: CA == TRUE !?)
[Tue Jun 29 09:28:39 2010] [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `np1awms001.corp.halliburton.com' does NOT match server name!?
[Tue Jun 29 11:20:45 2010] [error] [client 34.38.181.241] Couldn't connect to server: Connection refused at /usr/local/airwave/lib/perl/Mercury/TupleSpace.pm line
------------
Please check for Disabled messages, if so enable AMP that should resolve in most cases. Also, collect the tuple space logs. If the error still persists, then do # root; make if the error comes right after upgrade.

8. Once you have the logs, please send the logs to HQ.
