Find # of users connected to an AP

Question: Find # of users connected to an AP

If you'd like to know how many users are connected to the monitored AP's on AMP, use the following command:

select a.name as ap_name, b.count as users_currently_connected from ap a, (select b.ap_id, count(b.*) from client b group by ap_id) b where a.id = b.ap_id order by a.name;

You can modify this command to search for overloaded AP's with more than X number of users.

select a.name as ap_name, b.count as users_currently_connected from ap a, (select b.ap_id, count(b.*) from client b group by ap_id) b where a.id = b.ap_id and b.count > X order by b.count;

The same information can be taken from AWMS UI by sorting the AP/Devices table by number of users.
