How To Fix Offending key in ~/.ssh/known_hosts file

MVP
MVP
Problem:

Sometimes we may face issues when we SSH or SCP from one Airwave box to another when the RSA key fingerprint is changed

Diagnostics:

Following error will be displayed when the remote host key changes (after you’ve connected earlier with a valid remote host key).

Solution

We have to remove the offending key to proceed further. Use the following command to remove the offending key,

# sed -i '1d' ~/.ssh/known_hosts

Note: Change the 1d according to the line number shown.

Now we should be able to login successfully.

This doesn't work without CLI access which was taken away in Airwave 8.2.4. If there's another way, please let me know.
