How to associate username to a MAC address

There's a script built into AMP which allows you to import a .csv file to correlate a username to a MAC address. To use the file:

1. Create a .csv file with data in this format:

AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF,peter
11:BB:CC:DD:EE:11,aaron

2. Use WinSCP (http://winscp.net/eng/index.php) to copy the file to AMP. I'd recommend copying it to the /root directory or the /var/airwave/custom directory if it exists.

3. Run dos2unix to get rid of any Windows-style carriage returns in your .csv file:

# dos2unix /root/MyUsers.csv

4. Execute the script:

# import_usernames_mac /root/MyUsers.csv
