How to boot ap via tftp?

Aruba Employee

To boot AP via tftp, change the ‘bootcmd’ environment from ‘apboot’

#set env bootcmd tftpboot

Please note the AP will not save the code to it’s local flash so next time it will try to load the code again. To restore the default behavior, change the ‘bootcmd’ to ‘boot ap’

# set env bootcmd “boot ap”

Thanks for this.  When I change the bootcmd back to boot ap, the AP has not retained the image previously TFTP'd.  How do I make the AP retain and use the image previously accessed from TFTP?  The AP is missing an Instant image of any sort, so gets stuck in a constant loop.
