How to collect diagnostic tar logs from CLI of Airwave

Environment         This applies to all versions of Airwave

 

We can collect the diagnostic.tar.gz from CLI by running the below command.

[root@localhost mercury]# diagtarball


The output of the above command as ran on AMP-7.7.x version:

[root@localhost mercury]# diagtarball

 

Gathering diagnostic information, this may take a few minutes.

 

diag_tarball_2011-03-04_03-03-12.tar.gz created.

This file will be present under the /tmp directory.

The output of the above command as ran on AMP-8.0.x version:

[root@localhost mercury]# diagtarball
Gathering diagnostic information, this may take a few minutes.
/var/ampcli/user/diag_tarball_2014-08-25_20-14-51.tar.gz created.

The file will be present under /var/ampcli/user directory.


Once the file is generated, users can copy it off the server using WINSCP utility.
